How to Choose the Right Suit Fabric
Weight, weave, and season — understanding the cloth before you commit to the cut.
Fabric is the foundation of a suit. Before lapels or buttons, the cloth decides how a garment drapes, breathes, travels, and ages.
Weight matters
In Dubai, a 230–280g cloth performs across most of the year, while heavier 320g+ worsteds suit cooler travel. Lighter weights breathe but require thoughtful construction to hold their shape.
Weave and finish
High-twist wools resist creasing and travel beautifully. Flannels and hopsacks bring texture and depth. Plain worsteds remain the quiet workhorse of a refined wardrobe.
Colour first
Navy and charcoal earn their place before anything else. They carry from boardroom to evening, and flatter almost every complexion.
