How a Suit Should Fit
The proportions that separate a tailored suit from a bought one.
Shoulders
The most important fit point. The seam should sit at the edge of your shoulder, with no divot or overhang.
Chest and waist
Clean through the chest, gently shaped at the waist — comfortable when buttoned, never straining.
Length and trousers
The jacket covers the seat; sleeves reveal a clean shirt cuff. Trousers fall with a slight, intentional break.
